More Details About The Show

Our member’s cars will not be judged. Some may be displayed but we will not enter the show nor receive any awards.

Trophies will be given for the top 15 Corvettes, top 15 Chevy cars and top 5 Chevy trucks in each class. A grand total of 37 Trophies in all.

The Corvette Class will consist of 5 best of show trophies one each for C1, C2, C3, C4, and C5&6 Then 10 more “Top 15”to round out the top 15 Vettes. The Other two classes are Chevy Cars & Trucks. There will be a best of show trophy for each of those 2 classes. A club participation and a longest distance trophy, will be awarded as well.

There will be no goodie bags given out, but we have a lot of nice door prizes. We will begin giving out door prizes at 11:00am. Each number drawn will have a choice of what remains on the table.  The better prizes will likely go first, so you best get there early if you can.

There will be a silent auction and we have a great selection of items that have been donated by our sponsors. The auction is open to everyone, including, participants, TCCS members, and spectators alike. We will close the auction when the judging is finished. The time will be announced well prior to it’s end.

There will be 50-50 tickets with the drawing after the close of the silent auction. This drawing is open to everyone but you must be present to win. We will call the number 3 times. If no one comes forward we will draw another number.

If you are from out of town and would like to make a weekend of it, there are lots of attractions in our area along with another car show in Sweetwater, Tn on the day before our show. That show is just a 15 minute drive from us. Email me if you want more details on that show.

Food

The Athens Regional Park area that we have reserved for the show, has a concessions stand and a covered eating area with seating for about 60 people. TCCS will provide Hot dogs, barbecue sandwiches, chips, popcorn, cold drinks. Drinks include water, sodas and diet sodas, and Iced tea both sweet and unsweet. There are also many good restaurants close by. We highly recommend our sponsors: Applebees, Monterays, and Ruby Tuesdays.
